Coal ash threatens America’s groundwater resources at 19 more sites

A December 12, 2011 report from the US-based Environmental Integrity Project states that coal combustion waste has contaminated 19 new groundwater sites across the country with toxic substances like arsenic, lead, barium, cadmium and boron, at levels that are above the maximum set by the US Environmental Protection Agency for safety.
